Marco Fargnoli began his career in the grass-roots film community of southwestern Ohio. While still earning his degree in Fine Arts, he was fortunate to find his way onto the camera crews of such influential cinematographers as Robert Richardson (on the film CITY OF HOPE) and Peter Suschitzsky (on THE PUBLIC EYE). He then worked as an assistant and operator on studio features (DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS, LITTLE CHILDREN, FREEDOM WRITERS) and TV shows (Big Love, Six Feet Under, Glee, Ugly Betty, Entourage, ER).
Fargnoli has since expanded into shooting independent features, shorts, and television documentaries. His narrative projects have won awards in numerous festivals worldwide, and his tv/documentary work includes projects for Warner Brothers, MTV, NBC, and FOX. THE ACT, a Sundance 2005 short, was honored by the Cinematographers Guild Showcase for Excellence in Cinematography.
Fargnoli is represented by Hilarie Roope of iTalent. His latest projects are the Fox TV comedy series The Mindy Project (with Mindy Kaling), and the Adult Swim comedy series Childrens Hospital (with Rob Corddry and Megan Mullally).
